Cozy Cottagecore Games 🍄
If you’re looking for something that’s cozy and feels like something out of a fantasy novel, you should definitely check these games out!!!
Some of these games are a bit new so they haven’t fully launched on all of the platforms they’re going to be on, but at the very least you can save this post for later!!!
Two of these games are actually free too! (Postmouse & A Cottage Story)
Personally, Lakeburg Legacies has been on my wishlist for a while and I haven’t played a lot of city builders but Fabledom looks very tempting!!!
I will also mentioned that I’ve heard both good and bad things about The Witch of Fern Island. A lot of people love the game but apparently it doesn’t necessarily run without glitching but it’s still pretty new so I’m sure they’re working on fixing any issues! Apparently it’s meant to come to the Switch too!
*As far as I’m aware the pricing I’ve listed is correct for the games but I did not check the price on every platform listed so there might be some variation there.
🪴I could definitely make more posts similar to this one because I accidentally made too many slides to fit in one post😅

Cozy games have seen a surge in popularity, especially those focused on themes drawn from nature and fantasy. Titles like 'Mail Time' and 'Teacup' invite players to immerse themselves in serene environments where they can explore and create at their own pace. The unique blend of storytelling and gameplay in 'Winkeltje: The Little Shop' allows you to manage a charming fantasy store, providing a delightful escape. For fans of simulation and city-building games, 'Lakeburg Legacies' and 'Fabledom' cater to this niche, allowing players to engage in matchmaking and construction within a fairytale framework. The latter also recently announced its release on the Nintendo Switch, extending its accessibility. The cozy gaming genre often intersects with cottagecore aesthetics, which emphasizes pastoral and vintage elements in visual and thematic design. Games in this genre typically promote relaxation, creativity, and a connection to nature, making them perfect for unwinding after a long day. As new titles continue to emerge, it’s essential to keep an eye out for updates and player feedback, especially for games like 'The Witch of Fern Island', which is still refining its gameplay experience. Engaging with platforms where other cozy game enthusiasts share experiences can further enhance your gaming adventure.
