Hiking outfit inspo ⛰️

I like to keep my hiking outfits simple which usually entails activewear shorts and either a crop top or bathing suit underneath in case I want to swim after a hike on island🌞

The Cassey shorts from P’tula are my favorite, I wear them for everything and have them in like 6 colors

I also just bought chacos to wear for hikes too!!

For me, a simple yet versatile approach has always been key, especially when exploring scenic trails that might lead to a refreshing dip in the water. I love outfits that can easily transition from a challenging hike to a relaxing post-adventure swim, making every moment of the day enjoyable. My absolute go-to for bottoms has to be the P'tula Cassey shorts. Seriously, if you're looking for hiking shorts, these are a game-changer. I have them in so many colors because they are incredibly comfortable and supportive, perfect for everything from a casual walk to a more strenuous trek. The 6-inch inseam offers great coverage without feeling restrictive, allowing for a full range of motion. They're quick-drying too, which is a huge plus if you encounter any unexpected splashes or want to take a swim. When paired with a simple crop top, like my favorite brown one, it creates a breathable and stylish look that keeps me cool on sun-drenched trails. Footwear is another crucial element, and I often switch between two favorites depending on the terrain. For lighter trails or adventures where I know I'll be near water – like those beautiful island hikes – my Chacos are indispensable. They offer excellent grip and support while allowing my feet to breathe and dry quickly. But for more rugged paths or when I need serious ankle support, my Columbia Newtown Ridge hiking boots are my trusted companions. They provide the stability and protection needed for uneven surfaces and longer distances, ensuring my feet stay comfortable and secure throughout the hike. Choosing the right footwear makes all the difference in enjoying your outdoor experience. Beyond the main pieces, a few essential accessories complete my hiking ensemble. A good fanny pack, like the 1st Phorm one I often carry, is perfect for keeping small necessities close at hand – think keys, phone, and a snack. It keeps my hands free and doesn't bounce around during movement. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses for sun protection, and always carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. These small additions can significantly enhance your comfort and safety on the trails. Ultimately, the best hiking outfit is one that makes you feel confident and comfortable, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Whether you're looking for 'hot girl hiking' vibes or a practical 'mountain trip outfit idea,' focusing on breathable fabrics, versatile pieces, and reliable footwear will set you up for success. My simple activewear strategy, incorporating pieces like P'tula shorts and Columbia boots, lets me focus on the stunning views and the joy of the journey, unburdened by uncomfortable clothing. Experiment to find what works best for your adventures, and happy trails!
