How to refresh your jewelry box on a budget
My sister and I made some DIY jewelry last weekend and it was soooo easy!
What you'll need:
- wire
- hooks and clasps
- pliers (found in jewelry aisle so they also can cut wire)
- crimp beads
- beads!
I recommend following a TikTok video to get visuals on how to do this but here are the steps we use:
1: get your wire started by attaching the hook and clamping down 2 crimp beads to get it secure
2: put on beads in any pattern you want!
3: when you're done, leave about an inch of extra wire and then repeat the attachment process but with the clasp. two crimp beads to hold it in place
4: cut extra wire or tuck it under beads
That's all it is!!! It gets way easier the more you do it. Crimp beads were the hardest part for me but once I got the hang of it I had no issues!
