5 toddler toys I actually recommend

1. Magnetiles - fantastic way to work on kiddos motor skills while doing something fun!

2. Rock Around - will be fantastic for the winter months when you’re cooped up inside. Doesn’t take up too much space, and keeps them occupied for good while!

3. Soft Blocks - Build a tower, and knock it down! We also use these for our cool down corner. “Take it out on the blocks, not your sister” 🥴

4. Cleaning Kit - My two year old is obsessed with cleaning. Sprinkle some kinetic sand or flour on the floor and let them go to town sweeping & mopping!

5. Career Vests - the art of imagination is disappearing. We LOVE to dress up using these vests and learn about the different occupations!

... Read moreChoosing the right toys for toddlers is essential for fostering creativity, learning, and development. Magnetiles provide an excellent opportunity for young children to enhance their motor skills and spatial reasoning by allowing them to build various shapes and structures. This hands-on play stimulates fine motor control while encouraging problem-solving. As winter limits outdoor play, toys like Rock Around offer a perfect solution to keep toddlers actively entertained in small spaces. This kind of physical activity promotes coordination and bursts of energy release, which are vital for healthy growth. Soft Blocks serve a dual purpose—they encourage imaginative building and can also be part of calming down strategies. Using blocks for emotional regulation, like redirecting frustration through play, helps toddlers develop self-control and social skills. Cleaning Kits tap into toddlers' emerging desire for independence and imitation of adult routines. When combined with sensory elements like kinetic sand or flour, cleaning play becomes a fun and tactile learning experience that teaches responsibility and fine motor precision. Lastly, Career Vests ignite imaginative role play that is crucial for cognitive and language development. Dressing up as doctors, firefighters, or chefs allows toddlers to explore different professions and socially relevant scenarios, fueling curiosity about the world around them. Selecting toys that balance educational value, safety, and fun ensures toddlers not only enjoy playtime but also gain lifelong skills. These five toys exemplify a thoughtful approach to play that parents can trust and children will love.
