Inktober/Goretober

Wow, participating in Inktober and Goretober has been such a blast already! Getting through Days 2 & 3 really pushed my creativity. For Inktober, I tackled 'Discover' and 'Boots,' focusing on details. And for Goretober, things got delightfully spooky with 'Decapitation' and 'Pins & Needles' – definitely not for the faint of heart, but so much fun to draw! If you're like me and love the spooky season but also appreciate a touch of cuteness, then easy creepy cute drawings are definitely your jam! It's all about finding that balance. Think about taking something typically scary, like a ghost, and making it friendly with big eyes or a little smile, just like the cute white ghost I drew for 'Happy Spooky Season!' Or maybe a tiny monster with a flower crown. The key is to simplify shapes and use softer lines for the 'cute' aspect, then add a subtle spooky element like a tiny skull or an odd number of eyes for the 'creepy' part. You could even draw a miniature, slightly sinister plant growing inside a bell jar. For Goretober, maybe a jar containing some mysterious, bioluminescent fluid, or even a 'specimen' that's more cute than gross, like a tiny, friendly cyclops eye floating in liquid. It adds an element of mystery and enclosure to your cute creepy drawings. These challenges are fantastic for pushing yourself creatively and exploring different prompts.
