The combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar perfectly mimics the sweet, spiced notes of traditional French toast, while the espresso adds a delightful caffeine kick. One tip to elevate your French Toast Iced Latte is to experiment with different types of milk. I’ve found that oat milk adds a creamy texture without overpowering the spices, while almond milk brings a subtle nuttiness that complements the cinnamon beautifully. Using instant espresso is quick and convenient, but if you have the time, freshly brewed espresso shots can make the flavor even richer. Another way to enhance the drink is by making your own vanilla syrup. Simply simmer equal parts sugar and water with a split vanilla bean or vanilla extract until it thickens slightly. Using homemade syrup adds a natural flavor and lets you control the sweetness. For an indulgent topping, cold foam is a great addition. Frothed sweet cream like Chobani’s works wonderfully, creating a smooth, velvety layer atop the iced latte. I occasionally dust a little extra cinnamon over the foam to make it look and taste extra special. Finally, if you want to add a twist, try sprinkling crushed graham crackers or a light drizzle of maple syrup on top. These additions bring a nice texture and deepen the French toast vibe of the beverage. Enjoy this iced latte as a perfect treat on warm mornings or as a cozy afternoon pick-me-up!
