The only thing that could of prevented this awful torture from age 17 until lite
Looking back on my own journey, I can truly relate to the feeling of prolonged hardship that the author expresses. Many people experience similar struggles when they delay pursuing their true passions or hesitate to take decisive action in their careers and personal lives. For instance, starting work in a desired field earlier often provides valuable experience and connections, which can prevent a lot of frustration and setbacks down the line. I also agree with the author’s decision to not remain in a harmful environment just for the sake of familiarity or fear of change. It’s vital to recognize when a situation is detrimental to your well-being and have the courage to leave, even if that means stepping into the unknown. Running from problems doesn’t always have to be negative; sometimes it’s a way of protecting oneself and making space for better opportunities. In addition, having a trusted support system or mentor, much like the mention of staying back with a 'gm' (general manager or mentor figure), can make a significant difference. When that support is gone, it’s natural to feel uncertain, but it also opens the door to personal growth and finding new environments that prioritize your health and success. My experience taught me that self-awareness and timing are crucial. If you feel trapped or tortured by your circumstances, taking a step back to reevaluate your goals and path can be transformative. It may be painful to leave what’s familiar, but ultimately, choosing to prioritize your long-term happiness and growth is one of the best decisions you can make.
