First off: associates don’t take tags off to “hide prices.” We do it because prices change constantly, and outdated tags cause confusion. It’s literally part of our job to make sure what’s on the shelf and what scans in the system match. Removing the old price tag has ALWAYS BEEN A THING!!! I’ll repeat this every time I see a video like this — it’s clear a lot of people making these posts have never worked a day in retail or paid attention in school when we learned about marketing. Supply and demand is the first and most common reason prices change. Inflation is the second. And when workers ask for higher wages? Shocker! — prices go up again to balance the costs. This didn’t start with the tariffs, but the effects have become more noticeable because of them.

We just need to all stop supporting Walmart. If you knew what was underneath them stores, you wouldn’t step foot on their property.
