One practical shift that made a huge difference was moving toward remote work, which offered flexibility that traditional office jobs didn’t. This flexibility allowed me to better integrate self-care and hobbies into my routine, like watering my garden each morning with coffee in hand, even wearing my quirky 'chicken boots.' These daily rituals, though small, provided grounding and a refreshing break from the constant rush. Financial freedom also played a key role. By reducing dependency on a fixed paycheck and wisely managing expenses, I gained more control and confidence to choose when and how I work, minimizing burnout. This freedom is not about stopping work entirely but about evolving my work life to better fit my personal needs and values. Moreover, embracing a mindset shift—understanding that rest and creativity are vital productivity components—helped me view my time as a resource to be respected rather than relentlessly consumed. Instead of building a life I needed a vacation from, I focused on building a life that supports well-being every day.
