From my own journey starting at Shin-Osaka Station, I found it fascinating how efficiently the station operates to handle the flow of passengers boarding the fastest train in Japan. The station is well-equipped with amenities, making it easy to grab a quick bite or get last-minute travel essentials. One of the most breathtaking moments of the trip is catching a glimpse of Mount Fuji from the train window. This iconic mountain, visible on clear days, offers unforgettable photo opportunities and a serene contrast to the fast-paced travel experience. To maximize your chances of seeing Mount Fuji, I recommend sitting on the right side of the train when traveling towards Tokyo. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, the bustling heart of the metropolis, the blend of modern infrastructure with historic architecture is striking. The station itself is a hub for numerous train lines, making onward travel convenient. I personally enjoyed exploring the surrounding area which boasts excellent dining options and shopping centers. For travelers planning a similar route, purchasing a reserved seat on the Nozomi Shinkansen in advance is advisable, especially during peak seasons. Also, keep your camera ready, as the journey between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo not only cuts travel time dramatically but also showcases the diverse landscapes of Japan. This route perfectly captures the essence of efficient travel combined with cultural richness and natural beauty.
