5 things to do before 10am
Life feels like it’s set to hard mode for many people who are ADHD. It can be a challenge just to get up and going in the morning to begin with. I am not a morning person by nature.
These five things are something I do to help set up my day for success. If I miss them, it doesn’t automatically mean my day begins to crumble around me… If I break routine it’s not the end of the world. But if I do them, my day ends up off to a better start.

Starting your day positively is crucial, especially for those with ADHD. Firstly, ensure you hydrate; drinking water or tea can energize your body and mind. Next, setting clear intentions can keep you focused throughout the day. Eating a nutritious breakfast should not be overlooked, as it fuels your body and helps maintain concentration. Incorporate movement, whether it's simple stretching or a brief workout, to awaken both your body and mind. Lastly, practice positive self-talk and affirmations to boost your mood and confidence. These practices foster a sense of accomplishment and readiness to tackle daily challenges, making mornings less daunting. Regularly engaging with these habits can transform your mornings into a more manageable and productive experience.
