A tool for when I feel my mental health sliding
I’m not sure what it is about being in the (silent) kitchen to bake, but it tunes me into a different frequency altogether. I know there are some people who like cleaning, and while I”m not a fan of doing that to clear my mind, baking is a whole different story.
This doesn’t work with new recipes, usually just with the staples in my house. Things like bread, rolls, cookies and banana bread end up coming out of my kitchen whenever I feel my mental health sliding.
