Took me awhile, but I’m back..

Sometimes life ramps up and you break routine, I think that’s what happened to me. I stumbled and then I couldn’t get back in front of the camera. While still filming content for Brands, working on my design business, my affiliate work I just could not get back in front of the camera.

But I decided that was the content! That was my story… so here we are. If I can do it, I know you can too!!

What will you be filming today?

I experienced this firsthand when juggling brand collaborations, my design business, and affiliate marketing left me unable to film content. What helped me most was shifting my mindset—embracing the break as part of my story rather than a setback. If you’re struggling to get back on track, try making your journey the focus of your content. Authenticity resonates deeply with audiences, and sharing your challenges can inspire others facing similar hurdles. Setting small, manageable goals for filming or creating can rebuild momentum without overwhelming you. Remember, the perfect video isn’t necessary; capturing real moments and emotions oftentimes connects better than scripted perfection. Engaging with communities of fellow creators, like those on Lemon8 with hashtags such as #contentcreatorlemon8 and #creatorlife, can also provide encouragement and fresh ideas. This sense of connection can remind you that you’re not alone and provide motivation to keep going. For anyone wondering what to film next, start with something simple—an update, behind-the-scenes glimpse, or honest reflection. These genuine insights offer valuable content and remind you why you started creating in the first place. Your story matters, and by embracing all parts of your creative process, including the breaks, you open doors to renewed passion and connection.
