Do you got resume issues???
When writing or updating your resume, it's important to keep it simple and easy to navigate. From my experience, one of the biggest mistakes people make is including too many pages. Ideally, your resume should be one page or maximum two pages if you have extensive experience. Hiring managers often spend just seconds scanning each resume, so brevity is key. Many also include an objective section, but it’s usually better to replace that with a professional summary that clearly outlines your value. Avoid listing references directly on your resume; instead, have a separate document ready if requested. Be cautious with the design: using pictures or overly complicated fonts can confuse Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and make your resume hard to read. Stick with simple, professional fonts and sizes. Also, watch out for tiny fonts which can make your contact information hard to find Skills sections should focus on relevant technical skills rather than soft skills which can be demonstrated through experience descriptions. Use short bullet points to describe your achievements concisely and avoid cluttering the resume with unnecessary details such as your graduation year unless very recent. Overall, the best resumes are clean, focused, and tailored to the job. This approach greatly improved my response rate when applying for roles, and I recommend reviewing your resume regularly to remove any outdated or irrelevant information.
