The Mutual Aid Campaign scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Oklahoma City Hall (200 N. Walker Avenue, OKC) is a vital community-driven initiative aimed at supporting neighbors facing economic hardship. This event operates from 9 AM to 12 PM and is rooted in the principle of mutual aid — a collective response to adversity through shared resources and solidarity. Participants and donors are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items such as canned fruits in 100% juice, canned vegetables, boxed food, non-perishable snacks, oats, cereals, grains, canned meat packed in water, and plant proteins either dry or canned. Additionally, new and unopened baby food, formula, and hygiene products are requested to meet the diverse needs of the recipients. This coalition effort brings together local businesses and community partners, including 50501 Pasta and Lawton organizations, to distribute aid equitably across Oklahoma City. Laid off workers, locked-out employees, federal workers, and families under financial strain are the primary beneficiaries.
