Good Friday
On this sacred Good Friday, we remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
“By His wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5
Today is a time to reflect on His suffering, His love, and the grace that was poured out for us all. Because of Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and given new life.
May we draw closer to Him today, walk in humility, and carry His love in all that we do.
It is finished. ✝️❤️
Good Friday is one of the most profound days in the Christian calendar, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. I’ve always found this day to be a deeply moving time for personal reflection and gratitude. The phrase "It is finished," which Jesus spoke on the cross, marks the completion of His mission to redeem humanity, a truth that resonates strongly every year. From my own experience, taking time to meditate on Isaiah 53:5, "By His wounds we are healed," brings a real sense of peace and hope. This passage reminds us that through Jesus' suffering, we receive not only physical healing but also spiritual restoration and forgiveness. Good Friday also challenges me to walk more humbly and carry His love in daily interactions. It’s a call to embody the grace and compassion Jesus showed. Whether attending a church service, reading scripture, or simply spending quiet time in prayer, I find these practices help deepen my faith and understanding of what it means to live redeemed. Additionally, I’ve noticed that sharing this reflection with others during Good Friday often sparks meaningful conversations about faith and purpose. It's a beautiful opportunity to connect and uplift each other with messages of hope and love. In essence, Good Friday is not just about remembering a historic event but experiencing a transformative moment that encourages us all to live with greater humility, forgiveness, and kindness in our daily lives.
