Daily prayer walks have been a game changer for us! They get us out in Gods creation, I get to answer Kylo’s questions and dive into topics he’s curious about, and it fills our spirits. I no longer feel drained throughout the day, because I’m not seeking validation or renewal from things of this world to “fill my cup”.

From personal experience, walking in God’s creation provides a peaceful environment where distractions fade, allowing for deeper reflection and connection with faith. It’s not just about physical movement—it's an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, whether it be with family or in personal prayer. One powerful aspect of these prayer walks is engaging with questions and curiosity, especially when shared with loved ones like children. This interactive process strengthens bonds and makes spiritual teachings more relatable and impactful. Moreover, these walks encourage filling your spirit rather than seeking temporary validation from external sources. This shift prevents emotional exhaustion and fosters inner peace, which sustains your energy throughout the day. The concept that "pursuing Jesus doesn't end when the sermon does" highlights the importance of continual spiritual practice. Prayer walks serve as a living extension of church fellowship, enabling ongoing devotion outside traditional settings. For those new to prayer walks, start with smaller, consistent sessions focused on gratitude and listening. Over time, you may notice a renewed sense of purpose and a stronger connection to your faith journey, making daily life more fulfilling and balanced.
