Hi! I’m Candis! I say I’m “new-ish” because I’ve been on Lemon8 since last summer I just never had interest in posting up until recently. I LOVE this app, when I first made an account I found myself getting into the app for comfort, and to uplift myself with some positivity (kinda the same concept I have with Pinterest). It’s always been positive energy, good vibes, informative and helpful and that is all I’m searching for! So I made the decision to stop being fearful of opinions or negativity and to officially start posting, YAY!! ✨🥳
a little bit about me ☺️
🧠 - I’ve been on a HARD mental health journey (coming up on a year at the end of this month actually✅). Nobody said it was going to be easy, right? Well, they meant it when “easy” was no where in sight, lol. All jokes aside, I will say, I love who I’m transforming into and becoming on this new journey of self-discovery, self-care/love, spirituality, etc.
🍫 - I have a terrible sweet tooth and idc…. Give me ALL the chocolate ice cream, Hershey’s chocolate almond bars, candy, & whatever else is left on the shelves. UGHH, sugar is my favorite enemy. 🥲
🪩 - I love dancing!!! I’ve been wanting to learn more instruction which is a goal for the 2024 year for myself. I need to start putting more pressure on my boyfriend to do it with me. The feeling that dancing gives, is similar to meditating lol I don’t really know how to explain it, I just know it brings me joy.
🎨 - I’m a self-taught artist 👩🎨 I actually just started dabbling in the digital art scene with Procreate and some Adobe tools. For the most part I don’t have a “niche” or type of art that I create. I enjoy everything about art and had the chance to reconnect with it within the last year, and I know I don’t want to lose the feeling it provides.
🦮 - I’m a dog person and dog mom, swipe to see Cash 💰. He’s a Labrador mix and the apple of my eye.
🔮 + 🧘 - Yoga, meditation, manifestation, spirituality, are my muse, and journaling! I’ve adapted a more holistic approach over the last year and have been learning and researching more about divinity and what some of those topics mean to me.
I’m so excited about officially starting to create content and making new relationships here on Lemon8!! As of right now I’m not labeling any type of industry or specific content as of right now, just to keep ideas natural and true to me. For now, you can expect some of the things I talked about above to be included in my future posts.
