A Proverb A Day •Ch. 12
CHALLENGE: Let’s read a proverb a day together.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord & Savior?
If not, but you want to, then say a prayer.🙏🏻
Dear Lord, I'm a sinner and I need a savior. I accept you into my heart. Please forgive me for all of my sins.
I choose to follow you all the days of my life. -amen
You don't have to change before you come to the Lord.
Come as you are & He will transform you through the work of the Holy Spirit.
If you don't choose Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then when He returns to gather His family into His kingdom for eternal life, the you won't be able to be there. You'll suffer eternal damnation in hell separated from God forever. There will be no more chances fix that.
Please choose Jesus. He chose you and all of us through His work on the cross. ♥️

The Book of Proverbs offers timeless wisdom that complements the spiritual message found in daily devotionals. Proverbs 12 highlights themes such as the importance of diligence, wisdom, disciplined living, and the consequences of wickedness. For instance, verses like “Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave” remind us of the value of effort and responsibility. When combined with the gospel message, these proverbs encourage believers to pursue righteousness not only through faith but also through practical, godly living. The transformation promised by accepting Jesus involves both an inner renewal by the Holy Spirit and outward actions guided by wisdom and discipline. This holistic approach gives a fuller understanding of a Christian’s journey. Moreover, Proverbs 12 contrasts the stability that comes from wise planning with the ruin from wicked schemes, teaching that trusting in God’s guidance leads to flourishing while selfishness and anger lead to destruction. For anyone considering faith, this reinforces why choosing Jesus as Lord transforms all aspects of life—morally, emotionally, and socially. Many verses in Proverbs encourage listening to correction and embracing knowledge, which aligns well with the invitation to come to Jesus “as you are.” It is not about our perfection before coming, but about openness to learning, growth, and transformation. This reflects the loving nature of God, who welcomes sinners and works through His Word and Spirit to make them new. Incorporating daily proverbs into your devotional practice not only deepens biblical literacy but also helps anchor your faith in practical wisdom that guides everyday decisions. Pairing this with prayer, as suggested in the challenge, fosters a robust relationship with God. Whether you’re new to faith or seeking encouragement, these scriptural nuggets encourage perseverance, humility, and hope. Ultimately, embracing Jesus and applying Proverbs’s teachings strengthens one’s spiritual walk and prepares believers for the eternal hope described in the devotional message. It reminds us that salvation is a gift and a call to live wisely, reflecting God’s kingdom here on earth.
