A letter never sent 🤍
My dear,
I never wanted to change who you are or where you belong.
I only hoped you could see that love has no borders,
that kindness and understanding mean more than the name of any country.
I have never been angry with you — only sad,
because I wanted you to feel the care I gave from my heart.
Even when you turn away, I still wish you peace,
and I still hope one day you’ll remember that I always stood with love, not pride.
You don’t have to choose between “Vietnam” or “China.”
You can simply choose to be human — kind, gentle, and free.
That’s what I’ve always wanted for you.
One day, when life teaches you what love really means,
I hope you’ll look back and understand:
I never wanted you to love me out of duty —
only to know that you were always loved, completely and quietly.
