Glamrock Chica cosplay

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to finally share all the details of my Glamrock Chica cosplay. It's been a dream project of mine ever since I fell in love with Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, and bringing this iconic rockstar animatronic to life was an incredible journey! My main goal was to capture Chica's vibrant, energetic personality and her distinct 80s glam rock aesthetic. Getting that perfect Glamrock Chica outfit meant diving deep into reference photos. I started with her signature pink and green leotard. Instead of buying a ready-made one, I decided to modify a base leotard, adding the green paneling with stretch fabric paint and custom-cut vinyl appliques for those sharp, angular details. For her shoulder pads and leg warmers, I went with sequined fabric to really catch the light and give that stage-ready sparkle, just like a true glam rock chica! One of the most fun — and challenging — parts was her hair. Many of you might be looking for costumes with blue hair, and Glamrock Chica's vibrant blue locks are definitely a showstopper! I chose a high-quality, heat-resistant synthetic wig that was long enough to style into her voluminous, side-swept look. A lot of back-combing and hairspray went into achieving that gravity-defying fringe and fluffy ponytail! Don't be afraid to experiment with different wigs and styling products until you get that perfect rockstar volume. For accessories, her iconic guitar was a must-have. I crafted a lightweight replica using foam board and PVC pipes, painting it with metallic acrylics to mimic the in-game look. Her studded bracelets and belt were sourced from a local costume store, and I added extra studs for that authentic Glamrock feel. And let's not forget the makeup! I focused on bold eyeliner, bright eyeshadow, and a pop of pink lipstick to match her vibrant persona. The key is to exaggerate features for that animatronic-but-glam look.
