EAT BETTER WITHOUT THE DIET

Dieting is definitely difficult with our busy schedules, focus on making smaller changes! Eating better isn’t as hard as it sounds…

- if you’re a fan of breakfast, like myself, find a breakfast with a higher protein count over carb count. An easy meal is eggs! If you don’t like eggs try finding a high protein yogurt you love. 🍳

- Make sure to check out for any multicultural grocery stores in your area. These grocery stores typically have un processed produce, and packaged product with UNDER five ingredients. No more of those hard to pronounce chemicals in the food we are eating 🥣

- Setting a protein goal for the day is crucial to losing body fat. By making sure you reach a protein goal, you are fueling your body, and supporting muscle growth 🐓

- VEGGIES VEGGIES VEGGIES are soooo important! Have something green with at-least two of your daily meals! Broccoli and cauliflower are great substitutes in tons of recipes!

- Often times, I still get a craving for fast food. Before deciding to pick up fast food, try to re-create your craving at home. I often times find that when I make it home tastes better and less expensive 💰

- Despite my efforts, I usually crave something sweet at the end of my day. Instead of denying yourself, the craving, find a healthy alternative! I like making a small bowl of frozen fruit and chocolate chips 🍪

... Read moreEating better without strict dieting can be approached with a few mindful strategies. Start your day with a protein-rich breakfast to boost energy levels and maintain satiety. Eggs are a great choice, but if you prefer yogurt, opt for a high-protein variety. Incorporating more vegetables into your meals is essential; aim for greens like broccoli or spinach at least twice a day. Exploring international grocery stores can yield fresh produce and unique ingredients with minimal additives. Such markets often have items with fewer than five ingredients, providing healthier options without the confusing chemicals found in many packaged foods. Setting daily protein goals can significantly aid in fat loss and muscle gain, ensuring your body receives the fuel it needs. If you encounter fast food cravings, consider replicating your favorite dishes at home. Homemade versions can be healthier and more affordable. Finally, when those sweet cravings hit, don't just ignore them. Instead, indulge in healthier alternatives such as frozen fruits paired with dark chocolate chips for a satisfying treat without the guilt.
