When I felt empty...
I always put the needs and wants of others before my own
I constantly sacrificed my beliefs, values, etc just to please my friends, girlfriends, and family members
How I stopped feeling empty (How to stop feeling empty):
I started prioritizing myself
I focused on making myself proud of who I am and what I do
I started taking cold showers, getting sunlight on my body, exercising more, eating healthy (and lost 30 lbs in 3 months), putting my bare feet on the ground, working to improve my sleep quality, and more
These have all helped me feel MUCH better about myself, and I've even reached a place where I genuinely love myself
I'm also INSANELY proud of myself

Feeling empty can be a common experience, often stemming from neglecting personal needs in favor of pleasing others. To combat this, one can adopt self-care routines which promote well-being. These might include physical activities like exercise and outdoor sunlight exposure, which elevate mood and energy levels. Additionally, practices such as mindfulness and setting personal boundaries can encourage a deeper connection with oneself. Recognizing and acknowledging one’s own feelings is essential; asking yourself reflective questions can provide clarity. Support from mental health resources, such as therapy or self-help books, can also guide this journey. Develop habits that boost self-esteem, such as affirmations, journaling, and celebrating small achievements. Ultimately, the path to feeling fulfilled starts with valuing yourself and prioritizing your happiness, leading to a healthier, more positive outlook on life.
