This is Jefferson

Meet Jefferson! He is our Russian tortoise. He is roughly one year old. This type of tortoise can live anywhere from 20-50 years and can be the size of a shoe box! For anyone who doesn't know, a tortoise is NOT a turtle. They are very different! A tortoise is mainly a land animal where a turtle is mainly water. Their diet, as well as their build physically, is very different.
