Why it’s good to have a good gym split:

Hey lovely people✨

// I wanted to tell the importance of having a gym split, while doing it properly!!

• Let’s say you worked out back one day then the next you wanna know what you should workout next, we’ll your upper body needs time to recover so you’ll need to do a lower body muscle group next time…

- For example, the picture on the second slide. Mon-Friday switch between upper body and lower body and focus on a set OR one muscle group at a time (AS I HAVE IN THE PIC) .

• Separate your muscles like I showed on the picture and organize them from upper body to lower body.

• As for the workouts do the “hardest” energy taking ones of them all so you have enough energy to complete them and you’re not burnt out when you finally get to them.

• You don’t need over 5 workouts to gain progress. You only need up to 5 and that’s pushing it on some things. Don’t do more than you need too. Your recovery time is important you don’t need to overwork yourself. You’ll see more progress.

... Read moreA good gym split not only helps in muscle recovery but also maximizes your gains. By organizing your workouts strategically, such as alternating upper and lower body training, you allow muscle groups to recuperate while maintaining your momentum in fitness development. For instance, if you trained back one day, you should work on your lower body the next to promote proper recovery. Incorporating hard, energy-demanding exercises at the start of your routine ensures you have the conditioning required to complete them effectively without fatigue. Many fitness experts agree that 4 to 5 targeted workouts per session are sufficient for noticeable progress. Further, focusing on a singular muscle group allows you to hone in on strength-building and growth. Moreover, flexibility and muscle conditioning should not be underestimated. Stretches before and after workouts, coupled with cardio, are essential for enhancing performance and recovery. Activities like glute-focused hip thrusts, quads and hamstrings work, and various upper body exercises help create a balanced physique. Always listen to your body, and rest as needed to optimize your fitness journey. If you implement these strategies, you will find workouts more enjoyable and effective.

If you want to maximize the benefits of lifting you should probably be hitting each muscle group about twice in a week
