นอกจากการที่รถบรรทุกต้องป้องกันไม่ให้ดิน หิน ทราย หรือสิ่งของตกหล่นบนถนนตามกฎหมายแล้ว ผมขอเล่าประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่เคยเจอเหตุการณ์นี้ตรงๆ ครั้งหนึ่งขับรถในช่วงกลางคืน เห็นรถบรรทุกดินวิ่งผ่านพร้อมกับดินหล่นเต็มถนน ต้องลดยางและขับช้าเพราะเสี่ยงลื่นและเกิดอุบัติเหตุจริงๆ ส่วนเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจที่อยู่ในที่เกิดเหตุแจ้งเตือนและมีการปรับจริงซึ่งทำให้เจ้าของรถต้องรับผิดชอบกับความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้น การทำถนนให้สะอาดไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องของเงินค่าปรับ แต่คือเรื่องความปลอดภัยของทุกคนบนท้องถนน หากไม่ระมัดระวังอาจเกิดเหตุการณ์รุนแรง เช่น รถลื่นล้มชนกัน ซึ่งทำให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อชีวิตและทรัพย์สินได้ นอกจากนี้หากสังเกตภาพที่ถ่ายทอดออกมาจะเห็นว่าแม้ในเวลาที่เช็ดทำความสะอาดก็ต้องใช้ความระมัดระวังอย่างมากเพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เกิดซ้ำซ้อน ทั้งนี้หวังว่าผู้ใช้รถบรรทุกจะตระหนักถึงหน้าที่รับผิดชอบที่มีกฎหมายกำหนดเพื่อสังคมที่ดีขึ้น
