Although the conflict in the Middle East has caused many parties to worry about energy, Thailand has no shortage of oil, with major oil traders such as Thai Oil, Bang from Shell and SPRC confirming that oil supply is still normal.
Thailand currently has about 100 days of total oil reserves, the most considered in the ASEAN region, reiterating that it still exports oil to the Lao PDR as usual, and that the government is in discussions with several countries to supply more oil, not limited to Russia.
Mr. Anin also asked for the cooperation of the people to save energy, even though there is no shortage, to increase the country's energy reserve period, reiterating that electricity in Thailand is stable because it is produced primarily from natural gas in the Gulf of Thailand.
The government confirmed that it would manage the situation closely and use the oil fund to support prices to reduce the impact on people's living expenses.
