Better late than never right? #grwm #cancersurvivor #breastcancer #motherhood #ministry
Getting ready for the day, especially when preparing for church and ministry, involves more than just putting on clothes—it's about setting an intention and embracing a mindset that empowers you for what lies ahead. As a breast cancer survivor and mother of five, I’ve learned firsthand how crucial it is to have a morning routine that honors both my physical and emotional well-being. After cancer treatment, many survivors face challenges like fatigue or changes in body image. Taking time each morning to care for yourself—whether through skincare, selecting uplifting outfits, or quiet reflection—can build confidence and resilience. Personally, including moments to pray or meditate before heading out helps center my focus, reinforcing my faith which supports me through motherhood and ministry. Involving family members, such as my children, in this routine creates a warm and supportive atmosphere. Sometimes our pets, like our dog or horse, even become cheerful companions during morning preparations, reminding us of the joy found in simple connections. I encourage others walking similar paths to customize a GRWM routine that meets their unique needs—integrating self-care, spiritual grounding, and practical steps. This approach fosters a sense of normalcy and strength, enabling you to embrace each day with hope and purpose.
