ถ้าคุณเพิ่งเริ่มต้นทำความรู้จักกับ MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) สิ่งที่ผมประทับใจมากคือวิธีที่มันช่วยให้เข้าใจตัวเองและคนรอบข้างได้ง่ายขึ้นมาก ภายใต้ 4 แกนหลักที่แบ่งเป็น 16 บุคลิกภาพ เมื่อเลือกเรียนรู้ทีละแบบจะเห็นว่าแต่ละบุคลิกมีจุดแข็งและอุปสรรคที่แตกต่างกันจริงๆ สำหรับผมที่เคยลองตรวจสอบ MBTI ด้วยตัวเอง เห็นได้ชัดเลยว่าการรู้จักตัวเองว่าเป็นแบบไหน (เช่น INTJ หรือ ESFP) ช่วยให้จัดการกับความสัมพันธ์ในชีวิตประจำวันได้ดีขึ้นมาก เช่น ผมที่เป็น INTJ ชอบความเงียบ และวางแผนล่วงหน้า แต่บางครั้งก็อาจดูเหมือนไม่เปิดใจหรือเย็นชา ถ้าเข้าใจนิสัยแบบนี้ก็ทำให้รู้ว่าควรปรับตัวอย่างไรบ้างเพื่อเข้ากับคนอื่นได้ดีขึ้น นอกจากนี้ MBTI ยังมีประโยชน์ในเรื่องการทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น เช่น รู้ว่าคนที่เป็น ENFP มักสดใส มีไอเดียใหม่ๆ โดยชอบอยู่ในสภาพแวดล้อมที่เสรีและเปิดกว้าง ต่างจาก ISTJ ที่เป็นนักวางแผน รอบคอบ และชอบทำตามขั้นตอนชัดเจน การเข้าใจความต่างนี้ช่วยให้ทีมงานประสานงานกันได้อย่างราบรื่น อีกจุดที่ผมชอบคือ MBTI ไม่มีถูกผิดหรือดีกว่ากัน เป็นเพียงเครื่องมือให้เรารู้จักตัวตนและจุดเด่นของแต่ละคน เพื่อให้เราสามารถพัฒนาตัวเองและเข้าใจผู้อื่นได้มากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะในยุคนี้ที่ความแตกต่างทางบุคลิกภาพมีค่าสำคัญในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีกว่า จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมแนะนำให้ลองทำแบบทดสอบ MBTI อย่างเป็นทางการหรือผ่านแหล่งที่เชื่อถือได้ จากนั้นศึกษารายละเอียดของแต่ละประเภท และนำมาปรับใช้กับชีวิตจริง เช่น การทำงาน การสื่อสาร หรือแม้แต่การเลือกกิจกรรมที่เหมาะกับนิสัยของตัวเอง เพียงเท่านี้ชีวิตประจำวันก็จะมีความเข้าใจและความสุขมากยิ่งขึ้น
