Okay plant friends, let me tell you why I'm so thrilled about these new additions to my plant care arsenal, especially after receiving them as a wonderful Christmas surprise! Discovering these goodies through Plant School Podcast, I was immediately intrigued, and now I get to try them myself. First up, let's talk about Prop Drops. If you're anything like me, you've probably spent countless hours trying to propagate your favorite plants. Sometimes it's a breeze, other times it feels like a never-ending waiting game for those elusive roots to appear. That's where Prop Drops come in! The idea behind them is simple: you add a few drops to your water when you're propagating cuttings, and they contain nutrients and hormones designed to stimulate root growth. I've always wanted to try a dedicated root-boosting solution, especially for some of my more finicky plants. The OCR mentioned how they help plants root faster, and I'm really putting that to the test with my Hoya Kerrii, Hoya Krimson Queen, and some cuttings from my beloved Hoya Carnosa. Hoyas can sometimes be slow to root, so if these Prop Drops can speed up the process and give me stronger, healthier roots, I'll be absolutely delighted! I'll definitely keep you all posted on my progress and how fast these grow. Imagine having a healthy root system established in weeks instead of months – that's the dream for any plant parent! Then there's the Leaf Shine. Now, some might think leaf shine is purely for aesthetics, but it's more than just making your plants look pretty. Healthy, shiny leaves are often a sign of a happy plant. Dust can accumulate on leaves, blocking light absorption and hindering photosynthesis, which is crucial for plant growth. A good leaf shine, when used correctly, helps remove that dust, opens up the pores, and can even offer a protective barrier against certain pests. Plus, let's be honest, who doesn't love seeing their plants with that vibrant, glossy look? The OCR perfectly described it: you give your leaves a little wipe, and it shines your leaves. It elevates the whole appearance of your indoor jungle. I'm excited to use this on my larger-leafed plants to bring out their natural luster and keep them looking their best. My journey with Market Botany products is just beginning, and I'm so grateful to the Plant School Podcast for introducing me to them – and for the amazing gift! It's always great to discover products that genuinely support our plant care efforts. For anyone struggling with slow propagation or dull-looking foliage, investing in specialized products like these could be a game-changer. I've learned so much from plant podcasts and communities, and sharing these discoveries is part of the joy of being a plant parent. Stay tuned for updates on my Hoya propagation experiment and how my leaves are shining!
