Crockpot go to

We love anything with rice. These beef tips and rice are so good! I switch up ingredients almost every time I make it.

Just beef stew meat, beef stew seasoning, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, Italian dressing, ranch seasoning, beef broth/consume and serve over rice. We've also served over mashed potatoes or egg noodle pasta!

... Read moreUsing a crockpot to prepare beef tips and rice is truly a game changer, especially for busy weeknights when time is limited but you still want a comforting and hearty meal. One of the best things about this recipe is the flexibility it offers—you can experiment with different seasoning mixes and liquids to produce a variety of flavors suited to your family’s taste preferences. For example, I like to start with the basic ingredients mentioned: beef stew meat, beef stew seasoning, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, Italian dressing, ranch seasoning, and beef broth. But from there, I often add a splash of red wine or a few diced tomatoes for extra depth and richness. On occasion, adding fresh garlic and a chopped bell pepper can also enhance the dish’s flavor profile. When it comes to serving, while rice is the classic base, don’t hesitate to try mashed potatoes or egg noodles as the author suggested. Mashed potatoes provide a creamy and smooth texture that pairs wonderfully with the tender beef tips and savory sauce. Egg noodles bring a bit of a pasta twist that's equally delicious. In my experience, slow cooking the beef tips on low for 6-8 hours brings out the best tenderness and ensures the flavors meld beautifully. Plus, the crockpot does most of the work, freeing you up to focus on other tasks. Leftovers also reheat well for next-day lunches or dinners. This recipe also caters well to single parents or anyone looking for easy dinner ideas that don’t require constant attention, making it a practical and satisfying solution. Whether you’re cooking just for yourself or the whole family, this dish hits the comfort food spot without any fuss.
