Here’s a fun little fall/halloween craft you can make with items from the dollar store.
What you need:
🍁 Candle Holders- all I could find at the time were the skull ones, but for a more fall like look, if your dollar store has them, you can opt for plain ones.
🍁 Battery Operated Candles-
These actually look pretty legit when lit, and they flicker too!
🍁 Fall window clings- I thought these pumpkin ones were super cute, but usually the dollar store has plenty of different kinds. Stick them to the candles however you want to. I only needed one pack for 2 candles.
🍁 Black Acrylic Paint- you’ll use this to paint the candle holders. It took me 3 coats to fully cover everything. Make sure each layer is dry before putting on the next, or it will just pull off the layer underneath.
🍁Mod Podge- I used the matte one because I like the matte look, but it’s up to you what kind you use. The little bottle from the dollar store is all you need for 2 candle holders. You’ll also mod podge the window clings onto the candles to ensure they stay on the candle.
And that’s it! Super easy, quick and cute! 🥰 I give this project a 10/10!
