In good shape overall — was pleased with the condition given the affordable play rate.

Mediocre shape. Some were not in great shape, others could use improvement; about what you’d expect for this price range. They rolled faster than I anticipated.

📐 Course Layout & Feel
The front 9 and back 9 played like two completely different courses:
• The front 9: tighter, lots of houses flanking holes, each hole fairly “siloed.” Didn’t feel overly dramatic or elite — more functional and tight, which forced you to hit good shots.
• The back 9: Much more enjoyable. Larger views, water in play, holes where you could see multiple ones from each spot. This section more than made up for the so-so front 9.
Overall: I enjoyed the round — especially the back half.

• Hole 12 – Par 4 dogleg-left over water: Best views on the course. I birdied it, which felt great.

Pace of play was unreal. Very few people on the course when I played, and I finished my round in less than 2.5 hours even while filming drone footage. Staff were very friendly and showed good hospitality.

⚠️ The Biggest Challenge
The front 9’s tighter layout forces you to be accurate off the tee — there’s little margin for spray. Also, Hole 18 stands out as the toughest on the course: hazards left and right force you to hit a long straight ball if you want a chance to get on in regulation. Kind of wish the most difficult hole wasn’t the last, but finishing with a fun challenge isn’t the worst.
