Least Favorite State
📍i have been to all 50 states, and I love them all!
🩷but if I had to choose a least favorite, it would have to be california, and here's why:
🚫 freezing water:
it was always too cold to stay in long
🚫 not as safe:
lots of moments where people didn't seem safe to be around
🚫 too crowded:
there were thousands of people everywhere
🚫 very expensive:
gas, meals, hotels, ect.
🚫 not very clean:
smelled bad(lots of drugs) and trash
🚫 awful traffic:
there were a couple of times we sat in traffic for hours
🩷 however, there are many things I appreciate from this state:
✅️ aquarium of the pacific:
best aquarium i've been to
✅️ whale watching:
saw lots of dolphins, whales, and other sea-life
✅️ pretty nature:
good views and lots of animals
✅️ good seafood:
the cost always has good stuff
✅️ disney land(of course):
we just went to downtown disney, but SO fun
🌷what states have you been to?
Having traveled to all 50 states, I've learned that each has its unique charm. California, while often celebrated for its beaches and entertainment, has drawbacks. Visitors frequently note the chilly ocean temperatures that deter long swims and a crowded atmosphere that can feel overwhelming. Many also cite safety concerns in certain areas, leading to hesitation in exploring urban environments fully. Not to mention, the cost of living can be shocking—gas, meals, and accommodations can quickly add up. However, California is not without its merits. The Aquarium of the Pacific stands as a beacon for marine life enthusiasts, featuring an array of aquatic displays that educate and inspire. California's nature is stunning; from the majestic coastlines to lush national parks, nature lovers can find escape in scenic views and diverse wildlife. Culinary delights abound as well, especially for seafood lovers—fresh catches are a hallmark of coastal cities. Of course, Disneyland remains a highlight, drawing families and thrill-seekers alike, offering a touch of magic amidst the more daunting realities of this state. While it may top my least favorite list, California's contrasts offer plenty of discussions. What are your thoughts on California or other states you've visited? Share your experiences!
