Trends always lie 😭

In my experience, following trends without critical thinking can often lead to disappointment. One important lesson I've learned is that trends reflect what many people are doing, not necessarily what will work best for you personally or professionally. It's easy to get caught up in wanting to fit in or capitalize on the hype. However, blindly following trends can cause unnecessary stress and sometimes financial loss if you invest in something transient. Instead, I recommend focusing on your own values and goals, and using trends selectively—as inspiration rather than a rulebook. Evaluate if a trend aligns with your unique circumstances and if it truly adds value to your life or work. Remember, many trends are cyclical or designed to encourage consumerism. Being mindful and patient can help you avoid the pitfalls of trendy decisions that might later feel like a mistake. Embracing originality and long-term thinking can lead to more fulfilling and sustainable outcomes.
