🫶Tile and purslane🥰

Having spent some time experimenting with tile and purslane in my own garden, I can say these two plants are surprisingly rewarding to cultivate. Both plants prefer well-drained soil and plenty of sunlight but are forgiving enough for beginners. When harvesting purslane, you can use it fresh in salads, sauté it as a side dish, or even blend it into smoothies for a nutritional boost. Its slightly tangy and lemony flavor complements many dishes. In my experience, the key to managing these plants is regular harvesting to encourage new growth and prevent them from overwhelming other plants. Also, because purslane spreads easily, it’s great for ground cover and can help reduce soil erosion.
