RIP Ma. Life will never be the same without you
So the reason I have been away is because my mother was transitioning and she has checked in to her new home in the Upper Room. My heart is broken yet relieved that she is no longer suffering. Boo was my family's rock and we will miss her tremendously.
Until next time Boo,
Your Babygirl ❤️ 😔
Losing a loved one, especially a parent who has been a cornerstone of your family, is an incredibly challenging experience. I've come to understand that grief comes in waves and no two days are the same. It’s important to allow yourself time and space to feel sorrow, relief, or even confusion. Grieving is not linear, and that’s okay. One thing that helped me during this time was focusing on the memories and lessons my mother, the family’s rock, left behind. Her strength and love continue to inspire me daily. Expressing feelings through writing letters or journaling can be therapeutic, giving voice to emotions that sometimes feel overwhelming. It's also meaningful to find a new way to honor her memory, whether through family traditions, sharing stories, or contributing to causes she cared about. Connecting with others who have undergone similar losses provides comfort and understanding. Remembering that healing doesn’t mean forgetting, but learning to live in a new normal, helps to navigate the complex emotions after such a profound loss. If you’re on this journey too, be gentle with yourself. Seek support from friends, family, or professionals if needed. My mother's transition to the Upper Room marked both an end and a new chapter for our family—holding onto her legacy, we move forward with love and remembrance.
