entering my idgaf era
Starting an IDGAF (I don't give a f***) era is a transformative experience many of us go through when we decide to live life on our own terms. It’s about freeing yourself from the constant pressure of worrying about what others think, especially the so-called “boring people” who tend to judge harshly without understanding your true values or passions. In my personal experience, adopting this mindset allowed me to focus much more on what truly matters to me, improving my self-confidence and overall happiness. When you stop caring about external judgment, you create space to pursue your interests, express your authentic self, and surround yourself with positive influences who lift you up. It’s important to remember that the voices of judgment often stem from insecurity or boredom in others' lives — not from objective truths about who you are. By recognizing this, you can detach emotionally and keep progressing toward your goals. This era is not about being indifferent in a negative sense, but about valuing your self-worth above shallow opinions. Embracing the IDGAF era can be challenging at first as it may feel like going against social norms or expectations. However, the rewards include improved mental health, greater creativity, and more meaningful relationships with those who appreciate your genuine self. Keep reminding yourself: don’t worry about being judged by the most boring people ever — your life is your own to live passionately and unapologetically.
