First long run in over a month!
13.1 miles + 1 mile with Ace, Maverick, and Sean. This was my first long run back in after a month, so went out there to enjoy it! ❄️✨
What I am disappointed in, is I didn’t take any pictures of videos running with the boys. No proof I got Sean to get out on a run with me. 😂 Ace and Maverick had a blast, and did a great job! 🐾

Returning to a long run after a month-long break can feel both exhilarating and challenging. When you add the joy of running alongside furry friends like Ace and Maverick, plus the support of a running partner like Sean, it becomes an experience worth savoring. Long-distance running after a hiatus requires careful pacing and listening to your body to prevent injury and build endurance gradually. Running with dogs, especially active breeds such as huskies, adds an extra layer of excitement. Huskies are known for their endurance and energy, making them excellent running companions for longer distances. It's important to ensure your dogs are well-prepared and physically capable of such runs. Hydration, proper warm-up, and cool-down routines benefit both humans and canine runners alike. Marathon training is a journey that demands consistency, motivation, and community support. Sharing runs with fellow runners or family members can boost morale and help you stay committed. Platforms like #motherrunner and #runningcommunity offer inspiration and valuable advice for balancing training with everyday life. While capturing memories through pictures and videos is tempting, sometimes fully immersing yourself in the run without distractions brings the purest joy. The laughter and fun you share while running with your dogs and friends count as priceless moments. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting back into the sport, embracing these experiences strengthens both your physical and mental resilience. Celebrate each mile, each moment, and the bond formed with your running companions on the path to your marathon goals.
