My favorite apps for students! 📚🎓
All of the apps are free with the exception of chegg. All of them have the option to buy a “premium” version of the app and the only one I really recommend doing that for is Quizlet! It’s so worth the money.
These are just some general student apps but I have more apps that are more for my major (Pre-Med/ Biology) if you guys would like to see those! Let me know below!👇🥰🥰
Breakdown of each app:
1. Unidays: Gets you student discounts, promos, and coupons! Literally every brand you could ever think of is on there!
2. Chegg: Uses AI and real people to help you with your homework. Just take a picture of your problem and if it’s not already solved on the app, a professional will get on and work it out for you! (do not use this to cheat, just simply to get a better understanding of your homework if you’re having trouble 😁)
3. Goodnotes: This app truly has so much to offer. I have the premium so I can have unlimited notebooks but you get 3 for free with as many pages as you want. You can make or download planners, notes, flash cards, etc. There’s stickers, highlighters, different color markers, etc. I even have a recipe book I downloaded for it! In your notebooks you can make an outline to have a shortcut to certain sections. I typically do this for each chapter we cover so I can easily find each chapters notes. After getting this app I don’t even take a notebook to school and my bag is so much lighter!
4. Flora: Let’s face it… we all have at least a small phone addiction 😬 This app has helped me so much to set aside some focus time to truly study or do my work. You can set a timer for how long you want to work and how long you want your break to be. If you complete the whole study timer, you get a new plant for your forest! It’s so cute. It locks apps so you can’t get any but you can turn certain apps off in the setting. So I have all the ones in this post turned off so that I can still access them while the timer is going.
5. Todoist: This app helps you make to do lists! I LOVE lists because I’m so scatter brained. You can tag each task with what they’re for so I have a tag for each class. You can set the due date for them and even choose where they rank in priority!
6. Notion: I think this app is a little confusing at first but definitely great once you figure it out! I like to download templates instead of making my own. I use this to track my assignments but you can edit documents, make a calendar, literally anything! On my study page I have a small youtube video where I can play some study music.
7. Quizlet: I can’t believe I forgot to put this one in the folder but it’s truly my favorite! I have the premium which I HIGHLY recommend because it gives you access to their “magic notes” which takes you notes and uses AI to make flash cards, questions, and a simple outline of them. It also will make a matching game and tests out of your flash cards. I believe the flash cards are the only thing on the free version but I used the free version for years and still loved it just as much!!
