Daily Essentials as an Optometric Tech 🩵👓
I love working as an optometric tech because I’m pre-optometry right now so it’s great to get some experience!
Here’s of few of my daily essentials:
1. hair clips!! hair ties are great too but I like clips because they’re easy and cute! This eye one is my favorite.
2. notebooks! I take so many notes. whether it be what the dr is saying should go in someone’s chat, info for me to remember later, or what someone’s saying on the phone. I go through so many note books.
3. a cute bage reel! I love this one but I have a couple that I like to change out for season or holidays!
4. a sweatshirt. This one’s from etsy and I LOVE it. It’s always cold in our office so it’s a life saver.
5. pens! I have 2 from this seller on etsy and get so many compliments on them. I like having a unique pen so it’s easy to find and I’m not going through all our pens wondering which one writes well. The paper mate ink joy are my favorite ones.
6. something to keep water in! It’s important to stay hydrated and you don’t wanna have a dry mouth when trying to talk on the phone or to patients. I love my stanley for water but I keep a hydroflask with an electrolyte mix in it too.
