Is it too early to plant my vegetables?

I am way too excited to wait to plant my garden. I was able to plant my lettuce, kale, and herbs last week and now I am itching to get the rest in the ground since New England has such a short growing season compared to more southern states.

Looking at the 10 day forecast shows pretty mild weather with little chance of frost and the usual last frost date is this weekend. Would it be too soon to get the plants I just impulse bought into the ground now?

We have zones and when’s the best time to plant certain plants i usually look at those and estimate when I should plant along with how the weather is gonna be for that week. Sometimes I start some plants inside until the are a certain height or how far along they are then plant them outside

Sounds like you're in a similar zone to me. I start my seeds indoors or a greenhouse and transplant 2nd week of May.
