How I keep from stinking in summer
As a plus size girly, I’m no stranger to being afraid that I stink when sweating in the summer heat.
Here is my usual process to make sure that I don’t!
1. Double cleanse!
I start with an antibacterial soap to kill any of the bad bacteria, then I follow up with an acidified body wash. If you don’t want to pay premium prices for Lume, try using Summers Eve as a body wash (just don’t use it in your lady bits, water only there!)
2. Deodorant
I’ve been having good success using the First Aid Beauty while body deodorant for any folds (like under the boobs, under my tummy, and any other areas that sweat collects) For my underarms I use the spray deodorant from by/ Rosie Jane both before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning.
3. Body Lotion
I like to have a base layer of scent with a body lotion. It keeps my skin moisturized and leaves a gentle scent! My current obsession is the new EOS pistachio lotion.
4. Either a body mist, perfume, or both!
