While our main gig is streaming Fortnite, we've had so many friends ask about other fun multiplayer games, and one that always comes up is Fall Guys! It's such a blast, and if you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on some seriously chaotic fun. Think of it as a massive, colorful obstacle course game show where up to 60 players compete in rounds of elimination, all trying to be the last one standing to grab that coveted crown. What I love most about Fall Guys is how accessible it is. You don't need to be a pro gamer to enjoy it. The controls are simple – jump, dive, grab – but mastering the physics and navigating the wild courses can be surprisingly challenging and hilarious. Each round introduces a new mini-game, from racing through jellybean-filled tracks to surviving tricky logic puzzles or even team-based games where cooperation (or friendly sabotage!) is key. It's the perfect game to unwind with after a long week, especially if you're looking for something light-hearted and competitive. For anyone just starting out, here are a few quick tips from my own experience: Learn to Dive: The dive button isn't just for looking cool; it's essential for extending jumps, recovering from stumbles, and even dodging incoming obstacles. Practice makes perfect! Observe Others: Especially in new rounds, take a moment to see how other players are tackling obstacles. You can often learn the best path or strategy by watching the 'beans' ahead of you. Grab Wisely: Grabbing other players can be a powerful tool for knocking them off or preventing them from reaching an objective, but it also slows you down. Use it strategically, especially in games like 'Tail Tag' or 'Hex-A-Gone'. Team Games are Chaos: Don't get too frustrated in team games. Sometimes, no matter how well you play, your team might struggle. Just try your best and have fun with the unpredictability. Don't Give Up: You'll fall, you'll get eliminated early, and you'll probably yell at your screen a few times. That's all part of the Fall Guys charm! Every session is a new chance to qualify and work towards that crown. Sometimes, after our regular Fortnite streams on Fort Fridays, we'll even jump into a few rounds of Fall Guys for some extra chaotic fun with friends. It's a great way to cool down and switch gears to something completely different. Whether you're playing solo or with a squad, Fall Guys offers endless entertainment and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. If you're looking for a game that's pure joy and doesn't take itself too seriously, definitely give it a try. Maybe we'll even see you in the Blunderdome one of these evenings!
