Recently had a lovely experience staying at Mandai Rainforest Resort for a birthday celebration 🎉
Room type: Family Retreat

✔️ Clean, modern bathroom with a rainforest-inspired design
Definitely a unique stay compared to city hotels. The whole space felt peaceful and calming, perfect if you’re looking to escape the usual city noise 🌿
A lovely touch was the evening turndown service, where staff came in to light a scented aroma for relaxation — such a thoughtful detail that elevated the experience.
Soft cons (just to note):
• Being close to nature means you’ll still notice insects 🦟 occasionally but that’s part of the rainforest charm
• Location is quieter, feels more secluded yet walkable to all 3 big parks: Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari
• Bird Paradise isn’t within walking distance, but there are nearby bus stops with shuttle bus services that make getting there easy
• Very nature-focused vibes, so it may not suit those who prefer a more “luxury city hotel” feel

While Bird Paradise requires a shuttle bus ride, the nearby bus stops make access hassle-free.
