Mindfulness Tip: Keep it Positive or Neutral

My name is Cat Doss-Alt. I'm a Certified Mindfulness Instructor and Registered Yoga Teacher. And today I have a quick Mindfulness Tip for you. A lot of times we're ready to stop before we've even begun because of negative thoughts, things like that. But if we are able to keep our perspective positive or even neutral, then we're able to continue what we're doing or even just get started. So if you start to feel negative thoughts, send those away and keep your perspective positive or neutral instead. And that’s going to give you a nice, clean base to start your mindfulness or yoga practice without distraction or that feeling that you want to give up before you’ve even started or like you want to stop just before you reach the finish line.
