All The Things I LOVE About My Desk Setup 🥰

Ok let’s be honest, I love everything about my desk but there are just a few things that make it extra special to me.

I know maximalism is not everyone’s cup of team and for

me it comes in waves and depends on the space.

Let’s get into it :

🌸Monitors: All of these monitors were from clients/projects and they didn’t want them back soooo here we are. While I am very grateful, when I eventually move into a house this set up will change I might get a really long monitor or two larger monitors but it’s nice having 3 because I can work from 2 for work and 1 for personal or all 3 for work and have the extra space for things I need to keep up to reference during calls and meetings.

🌸Jewelry Tray: Not necessary but sooooo convenient. Sometimes it’s annoying to have rings on while typing up something long or sometimes I have to pop on headphones and take off my earrings to do so.

🌸Desk Riser: Vital for soooo many reasons! Extra storage, better use for vertical space, extra space for the not super important things but the things that make me happy.

🌸Cute Lamp: Again . . . Necessary? Nope 🙂‍↔️ But it’s cute!

🌸Holders: I love my holders! iPad/phone holder so I can have a show, YouTube video or podcast playing while I work (when it’s a slower day), and of course my little turtle incense holder ☺️. My job can be stressful and anxiety inducing so I need all the help I can get !

🌸Little Friends: Ok so I’m a big kid, I LOVE cute little figures and cartoons and just cute things 🥰 They are great for keeping my hands busy when I’m anxious as well.

🌸Mug Warmer: Speaks for itself! You slow coffee and tea sippers know what I’m talking about 🤭 I usually eat and drink slow and that means things get cold so . . . Mug Warmer ☺️ and yes that is a fulllll on tea kettle on the mug warmer and nope it doesn’t burn the bottom or anything 🥰

🌸Coasters: could I use my huge desk pad as a coaster? Sure sure, but I’d eventually ruin it by doing that. So Coasters 😌

Honorable mention: my make shift laptop holder that holds 2 laptops behind my monitor. Sometimes I need to work from my personal and work laptop in tandem so this is great for that 🥰

This are not the only things I love about my Desk but these are at the top.

Also let’s be honest, I could get by with just my laptop as I did for years and usually preferred it that way. However, it’s nice having a dedicated workspace that helps me be productive and that I don’t dread. I also accumulated these things over time and a lot of the items were gifts or from previous jobs so while I bought plenty of the things, the cost wasn’t outrageous.

It may see kind of small but it’s only a portion of my shared office. And there is actually quite a bit of

Space throughout that makes it feel great!
