For a truly 'sassy' cat, sometimes you need high-value treats to get their attention or reward good behavior. Freeze-dried chicken or salmon are usually a hit. They’re pure protein, super palatable, and don’t have a lot of extra fillers. Yasha definitely responds well to these when I want to distract him or just show him some extra love. It’s amazing how a few crunchy pieces can turn a 'mean mug' into pure contentment! Dental treats are another must-have in our household. Even the sweetest cats can get dental issues, and these treats can help keep their teeth clean. Plus, it’s a stealthy way to give them something healthy while they think they’re just getting a yummy snack. I also love using interactive treat toys. These are fantastic for engaging a sassy feline's hunting instincts and making them work a little for their reward.
