If I can glow up, so can you ✨💪

I know 🍋8 is saturated with glow up tips, but I wanted to share some tips that helped me FINALLY glow up...10 YEARS after high school 😳😅

1. PHYSICAL HEALTH

🌱 See your healthcare providers! Stay updated with your general health, your teeth, your eyes, etc. In the past few months, I found a dermatologist who helped me clear my skin condition, and I reeeally wish I would've thought to see him sooner 😅

🌱 If you wear glasses/contacts, consider LASIK! This has honestly been one of the biggest investments I've made in myself! 🥹

🌱 Get moving! I started working out more regularly. After being skinny fat for so long, I realized I had to eat more to gain muscle. Despite my busy schedule, I try to go to the gym or workout at home regularly.

🌱 Skincare and haircare! I established an *actual* skincare routine, and I finally think I have glowy skin! I also started using an all-natural hair growth serum.

2. PERSONAL STYLE

🎀 Try a seasonal color analysis! This can help you figure out what colors look best on you. I got mine done on Fiverr.

🎀 Find your Kibbe body ID! I swear this has been LIFE-CHANGING!! 🤯 I learned more about my body type and how to dress better. I had never cared about personal styling, but now I'm always looking at clothes and fine-tuning my wardrobe.

🎀 Try different makeup looks! I've made a few posts about my makeup journey, and it's made such a difference in my confidence and appreciation for my facial features 🥰 I especially recommend the makeup YouTuber 🍑 Dear Peachie 🍑

🎀 Add perfume to your style! I naturally don't have BO, so for the longest time, I never considered that perfume did more than simply mask your odor 😅 I now have a little collection of smell goods that I try pairing with my outfits. It's so fun! 😄

3. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

🔥 Invest in yourself! Take advantage of professional development and continuing ed opportunities 💪 I'm taking a mini class right now on CliftonStrengths, and it's been very inspirational!

🔥 Spend time with positive people! Surround yourself with people who lift you up and inspire you to be the best version of yourself!! 🤗

As I write this, I'm thinking about delving into a few of these tips more in the future. But that's it for now! If you found this helpful, please let me know in the comments! May you glow from within!! 🌟

Love and blessings 💛

... Read moreHey everyone! You've heard about "glowing up," but how do you actually start that transformation? It all begins with a thorough "glow up analysis" of where you are now and where you want to be. I realized a true glow-up isn't just about trying random tips; it's about understanding your unique needs, and that’s what I want to help you dive deeper into. First, let's talk Physical Health Analysis. Beyond just seeing your "healthcare providers" for annual check-ups (which is super important!), take a moment to honestly assess your daily habits. Ask yourself: Am I getting enough sleep? How much water am I truly drinking? What does my plate look like most days? I found that tracking these simple things for a week gave me so much insight. For "get moving" goals, don't jump straight into intense workouts if you're a beginner. Start by analyzing your current activity level – maybe it's just a brisk walk daily or a few home workouts. Small, consistent efforts make a huge difference. Also, consider your specific needs: for example, if you struggle with vision, an analysis with your eye doctor might lead you to explore options like "LASIK," which was a game-changer for me! And for your "skincare and haircare," are your products actually suited for your skin and hair type, or are you just using what's popular? A little research and a fresh routine can work wonders! Next up, Personal Style Analysis. This is where things get really fun! I can't stress enough how much a "seasonal color analysis" changed my wardrobe game. If you're on a budget, you can start by looking up quick online guides or even trying a few DIY drapes with colored fabrics against your face to see what makes you look vibrant or washed out. Similarly, understanding "Kibbe body types" isn't about fitting into a box, but learning what lines and silhouettes will flatter your natural shape. Take some photos of yourself in different clothing styles and analyze what makes you feel most confident. Don't be afraid to experiment with new "makeup looks" – watch some tutorials and try a bold lip or a different eyeliner style. I also discovered the joy of "perfume" as a finishing touch; it's part of your personal brand! Finally, let’s tackle Personal Development Analysis. This is often overlooked but incredibly powerful. How do you analyze your mindset? Try journaling! Write down your thoughts, fears, and aspirations. Are you surrounding yourself with "positive people" who uplift you, or are there relationships draining your energy? I realized that consciously choosing my circle made a huge impact on my outlook. For "professional development," what skills do you want to learn or improve? Look into free webinars, online courses, or even local workshops. Investing in yourself through learning is one of the most rewarding analyses you can do. By taking the time for this comprehensive "glow up analysis," you’re not just chasing trends; you’re building a sustainable foundation for the best version of *you*. You've got this!
