4 years of Hina ☀️❤️
Hey friends! 4 years ago exactly, I met my little tuxie kitty for the first time at a church work bee. I was with a few ladies cleaning up the garden beds, when the tiniest little kitten appeared out of nowhere! 😍 She had no fear as she darted between us giant humans and our bags of mulch. In the distance, I saw another all-black kitten, her sibling, cautiously watching us. Anyway, the tuxie eventually left us to follow her sibling into the neighbor's yard.
Less than 2 months later, I was at another church event in the evening, when one of my friends walked in with a small cardboard box. He placed the box in my hands...and out popped a tuxedo kitten! She was so sweet and curious, and apparently her owner didn't give a crap about her anymore. I considered her an early birthday present, but as cute as she was, I was still a bit nervous about adopting a second cat. And when I took her home, my older cat, Yasha, confirmed why I should be nervous: He was absolutely terrified of the little creature!
At first, I told myself I would just foster her until I could give her away...but then I remembered the little kitten running around the mulch, and when I looked at the photos, I knew it was the exact same kitten I now had living in my bathroom! 🥹 And just like that, I foster failed lol 🤣
4 years later, Hina (aka Bina, aka Lil' Heen) is still the sweetest little cat (though you can see how big she got!). She's a soft, silky squeaker who purrs real loud and can't resist sunshine-soaked naps but also the sound of playtime. She and her brother get along just fine...and she's got a nice big (little) house and garage as her playground. And she knows she's incredibly loved! Every day, I'm so grateful God's cat distribution system delivered her to me 😆🥰😻
